Beyonce's Big Diet Reveal: She's Still a Vegan

Following a weekend of teasers and social media-induced suspense, Beyonce made a much-anticipated appearance on Good Morning America this morning, where she revealed...that she's still a vegan.


The singer-actress, who announced her vegan meal plan partnership[1] with Marco Borges earlier this year—after she and husband Jay Z tried the health expert's 22-day challenge two years ago—took to the morning show's soundstage to tout results from avoiding animal products.

"I am not naturally the thinnest woman," she said. "I have curves, I'm proud of my curves. I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, that actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me."

As an aspiring singer in the mid-to-late-90s, Beyonce's diet consisted mostly of "Lean Cuisine frozen meals...skinless chicken breasts, turkey, fruit, vegetables, fruit, and/or crackers," according to a 2003 biography[2].
