Whoa, We Were Not Expecting Bandannas to Make a Comeback Like This

Whoa, We Were Not Expecting Bandannas to Make a Comeback Like This

The beauty looks of the '90s[1] are officially in a full-on revival, folks. First, we had the return of the brownish-red lipstick[2] and then the comeback of visible lip liner[3]. And celebs clearly aren't over being nostalgic: Now they're making a strong case for bringing back the bandanna.

Recently, Cara Delevingne strolled the streets of SoHo with a cool lavender bandanna that totally amped up a basic pony:

Ariana Grande reminded us that a bandanna keeps long layers off of your face so you too can enjoy your Starbucks without hair getting stuck to your gloss—cute and functional:

And Khloe Kardashian expertly tied a bandanna around her head to keep post-workout flyaways at bay:

Earlier this month, head scarves also made a chic appearance on the runways during the 2016 Gucci Cruise Collection, Christian Siriano resort, and Lilly Pulitzer resort, so we're thinking this is clearly just the beginning of this particular '90s renaissance. We'd probably have different feelings abut scrunchies and butterfly clips, but a cute bandanna is something we can totally wrap our head around (literally).
