Even though your mind is still firmly on Paper Towns, which doesn't premiere for a few more weeks, you can officially start embracing your excitement for John Green[1]'s next film adaptation. Come December, Let It Snow—a short story collection with fellow authors Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle—will hit theaters.

There's no doubt it's going to be awesome, and we're not just saying that because John Green's name is attached. The beloved YA author wrote the original source material, but Pitch Perfect writer Kay Cannon will be penning the script about the trio of Christmas Eve romances. There's no word on whether singing will be incorporated because of her involvement, but go ahead and cross your fingers just in case. Carols, anyone?

Universal Pictures will release the film on December 9, 2016, which means that for the last three glorious years, there's been a brand-new John Green movie in our lives. The Fault in Our Stars happened in 2014, Paper Towns is hitting theaters in 2015, and Let It Snow will grace the big screen in 2016. He still has Looking For Alaska somewhere in the movie pipeline, so that might be another addition to his multi-year streak. We can only hope.

Catch up with his many projects here[2].
