If you didn't receive your letter to Hogwarts when you were 11, you probably thought you weren't destined to attend the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. While we all may have thought we missed out on years of playing Quidditch with Harry and Ron, apparently we were wrong all along.
Our favorite brilliant British novelist, J.K. Rowling, recently took to Twitter after Potterheads from around the world were complaining no one ever dropped off their coveted letter. Her response? Magical.
In a simple heartwarming tweet, J.K. wrote, "All these people saying they never got their Hogwarts letter: you got the letter. You went to Hogwarts. We were all there together."
It looks like we all did get our letters—they just might not have been physically delivered to us. Rather we were part of Harry's journey all along. To close the case once and for all, the author borrowed some powerful words from one very important wizard, paraphrasing a famed line from the great Dumbledore. "Of course it happened inside your head, but why on earth should that mean it wasn't real?"
