You're about to become completely un-bored with your eye makeup[1] thanks so a slew of cool, fun new ideas we spotted on celebrities yesterday. These four looks hit the world all in one day—and just in time for your weekend plans. Sometimes luck really is on our side.
1. Model Chanel Iman[2]'s lovely eye look at the Dope premiere:
The least out-there of the looks, this one created by Mario Dedivanovic[3], is about a very dramatic line of black combined with brown shadow. He used the lightest shade from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette [4]on the lids and brow bone and a mix of the darker browns in the creases. And the eyeliner? Anastasia Beverly Hills Waterproof Creme Color in Jet Black[5].
2. The blue eyeliner look makeup artist Nick Barose create for Orange Is the New Black star Vicky Jeudy:
He used Estée Lauder DoubleWear Eye Pencil in Electric Cobalt with Urban Decay Heavy Metal Liquid Liner in Amp on top for a rich peacock-y finish.
3. The first look L'Oréal makeup artist Sir John posted onset with Soo Joo Park, featuring a clumpy eyelash look:
If you want to recreate this look, reach for an ultra-volumizing mascara (here he used L'Oréal Miss Manga Mascara [8]and layer, layer, layer some more until you load up every lash. They'll clump together, but don't worry—that's the goal here. Feel free to pinch lashes together with your fingers if your mascara doesn't do it for you.
4. The second look he gave the model, featuring what we're calling "eye confetti":
To copy, simply dapple your lids with the pointed tip of a thin liquid eyeliner brush. You know, like your eyes are a canvas and today's art lesson is in Pointillism[9].
