A modern-day Cinderella story: Sofia Hellqvist[1] married Sweden's Prince Carl Philip earlier today, making her a real-life princess. The bride walked down the aisle to an Enya song on the arm of her father. Her wedding dress featured an illusion V-neckline with long lace sleeves, fairly similar to Kate Middleton's wedding dress. Photos are scant at this point, but a few—mostly from people's television screens—have popped up on Instagram:

The Local has been sharing minute-by-minute Swedish royal wedding updates[2] as the day unfolds. They're reporting that Swedish star Salem al-Fakir performed Coldplay's "Fix You" during the ceremony—interesting (or awkward) given Sofia's much-publicized past as a reality-show star and one-time topless model, and the royal family's efforts to transform her image.
