The 2015 Tony Awards' Best Moments: A Mini High School Musical Reunion, Josh Groban, and More

The 2015 Tony Awards' Best Moments: A Mini High School Musical Reunion, Josh Groban, and More

Broadway theater nerds might be a niche group, but the Tony Awards[1] serves its audience well. Case in point: Only at this award show will you see the host teasing a Josh Groban performance as the biggest moment of the night, a recent Juilliard grad beating out Bradley Cooper for a leading man award, and so. Many. Jazz. Hands. So let's recap a few of our favorite moments, shall we?

Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming's fabulous hosting duties. They're basically the king and queen of the Theater District. Next year, the Tonys should just add in Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster and call it a day.

All of the mini reunions! Ashley Tisdale introduced her High School Musical co-star and BFF Vanessa Hudgens' super cute Gigi performance, Fraiser's Kelsey Grammer and David Hyde Pierce were both in the house, and Larry David and Jason Alexander made us all nostalgic for more Seinfeld.

FUN HOME. Yes, all caps. Fun Home was definitely the buzziest musical of the night—not only because the show about coming out and coming of age won best musical (congrats!), but also in large part to 11-year-old Sydney Lucas' show-stopping performance of "Ring of Keys." Watch here:

Ruthie Ann Miles' charming acceptance speech. Not sure what's funnier: Ruthie's breathless speech to accept her win for The King and I ("Please recycle!") or the weird music that played her off.

But that wasn't the only big win of the night. Here's who took home the Tony:
