We've been following Malia[1] and Sasha Obama[2] since their father first took office over six years ago, and from very early on, it was clear they'd inherited their mom's penchant for style[3]. From fancy party dresses at White House events to casual ensembles for family outings, they always manage to look put-together while still being age-appropriate. And on their latest trip, a quick excursion to Britain that included tea time with Prince Harry no less, the girls looked picture perfect.

The sisters accompanied their mother, Michelle Obama, as she flew across the pond to promote her Let Girls Learn initiative[4], aimed at strengthening educational opportunities for young women and girls around the world. They stepped off the plane looking like royalty themselves, Malia wearing a navy blue shift dress adorned with golden yellow sunflowers, while Sasha wore a black and white polka-dot top and matching skirt. They both opted for ballet flats, a shoe choice that is simultaneously sensible (no one wants to trip in front of a prince!), and polished. Their looks could easily work for graduation ceremonies[5] and celebrations, too!

Getting dressed knowing all eyes will be on you would be stressful at any age, let alone your teenage years, but Malia and Sasha always seem to know just what to wear. Based on their impeccable track record so far, we have a feeling the dynamic duo will be serving major sartorial inspiration for years to come.
