Oh hey, thanks, Marc Jacobs, for finding a way to deal the next time we wake up and our hair [1]just won't behave. Jacobs and Redken pro hairstylist Guido sent models down the "runway" (actually, a street in Soho in New York City) at his 2015 Resort show with a headband[2] situation that hides all hair sins.
The style, inspired by an off-duty Martha Graham dancer, was a high bun—held in place with Redken Move Ability 05 Cream-Paste— wrapped with a piece of fabric that was simply knotted in the back. You can get the same effect with a scarf or even just by slipping on a wide fabric headband if tying a knot seems like too much for you. But the genius here is that the head wrap itself is a look, so you don't even have to add accessories to finish your outfit (unless you want to, of course). It's the lazy fashion fan's dream.
