If you're trying to lose weight, then it's time to step on that scale. A recent study[1] showed that those who weighed themselves frequently lost more weight than those who didn't because it helped them stay on track. And the best day to do so? Wednesday.
Why Wednesday? According to a second study[2], our weight tends to be most accurate in the middle of the week since we're likely to eat and drink more over the weekend, resume normal eating patterns on Monday and taper out towards the end of the week...until it all starts again.
That being said, you can guess what day you weigh the most: Monday, especially after a fun-fueled weekend with friends.
Also noteworthy: the day we weigh the least is Friday, which means it might be the best day to bring out those skinny jeans or tight dress (because it's only downhill from there).
