Let's just get right to the good news: Pitch Perfect 3[1] is officially happening! We'll pause for you to celebrate accordingly:
OK, now that we have that out of our system, you probably want every single detail about the film. Well, here's what we know so far...
When will the movie be out? Friday, July 21, 2017.
Who's going to be in it? So far, Anna Kendrick[2] and Rebel Wilson[3] are the only ones officially signed on—see their excited posts below—but we expect more of the Bellas will return too.

Who's writing it? Kay Cannon, who wrote the first two films, is currently in talks to write the third installment.
Will Elizabeth Banks[5] be involved? She's returning to produce, though it's not official yet if she'll be directing again or not. Although it hasn't been announced, it seems likely that if she's producing the project, she'll be acting too. And she did share this on Instagram:
