Last November, Kendall Jenner was named the face (and muse) of beauty powerhouse Estée Lauder[1]—one of the smartest things the brand has ever done, considering her plugged-in, social media–savvy fan base. Today, the brand released its first-ever fragrance ad featuring the model of the moment, who's shown rocking a bold red power suit (and little else) and staring off into the distance with the distinct air of someone who's a total boss. The scent, Modern Muse Le Rouge (available in July 2015), is a bold new departure from the brand's previous, more mature-minded perfumes. Instead of soft florals or musks, this new scent contrasts rich roses with a full-bodied velvet cream accord. "It was not just about capturing the scent of red; it was about capturing a state of mind, a vibrant, dramatic attitude," says Karyn Khoury, senior vice president of corporate fragrance development worldwide. We think Kendall Jenner—in her fiery red suit and windblown hair—did just that.
No power suit is complete without a swipe of matching lipstick! If we had to guess, we'd say Jenner is wearing Estée Lauder's Pure Color Sculpting Lipstick[2] ($30) in Envious.
