After One Direction[1] thanked former bandmate Zayn Malik[2] at the Billboard Music Awards, it seemed like all was good between the British boys, but now the heat is officially back on.
Among 1D's many 2015 Teen Choice Award nominations is one category where they're up against Zayn—and it's not even about music! Oddly enough, all four members of the band are grouped together to battle for Fashion Choice Male Hottie. Their competition? Zayn, 5 Seconds of Summer[3], Austin Mahone[4], Justin Bieber[5], and Ryan Guzman. Hmmm...whoever planned this one is just asking for trouble.
No matter who wins, we'll be happy to see one of the guys take the stage. The band is also up for Choice Song: Group for "Steal My Girl" and Choice Music Group: Male in the first round of TCA noms, so they likely won't go home empty-handed.
The real question is, will both 1D and Zayn perform at the Teen Choice Awards on August 16? Now that would really be something.
