Prince George wasn't the only one who spurred a fashion sell-out[1] from this weekend's royal polo jaunt—mum Kate Middleton[2] also inspired shoppers to snap up her outfit. The striped Me+Em shirt the Duchess wore (part of her unofficial polo-watching uniform[3], as we observed yesterday), now has a waiting list.
The top retails for $75, and the product page[4] has a notification telling potential shoppers that any purchases made on or after June 16 will be shipped out around August 19. As such a simple style, there are all kinds of alternatives you can get immediately (like here[5] and here[6]), but we'd be lying if we said we didn't understand the allure of waiting. It's Kate Middleton, after all.
