Michael Clifford was about to close the night at 5 Seconds of Summer[1]'s second show in London when something incredibly scary happened: His hair caught on fire. The guitarist was playing their smash hit "She Looks So Perfect" when he accidentally walked into a pyrotechnics display and had to run off stage to put out the flames.
A fan captured the scary moment on video—which you can watch above—but don't worry, guys: Michael is going to be fine. His 5SOS bandmate Ashton Irwin took the mic to let the crowd know they'd have to end the show because of Michael's injury, adding, "Just want to say thank you so much for coming. He is OK. You guys have been the best crowd we could ask for tonight."
Later, Michael tweeted a picture of his bandaged-up face, writing, "What the f*cks up. sorry I couldnt finish the encore, but at least I look like two face. Thanks for worrying every1 x." Calum Hood also shared some healing words for his bandmate with the sweet message below.
Perhaps the most interesting response to Mike's injury? Courtney Love, who tweeted an interesting get well message. Clearly everyone wants him to get better ASAP. Us included!
