Best Dressed at the Critics' Choice Awards 2015: Taraji P. Hensen, Anna Faris, and More

Last night, some of television's biggest names put on their formal best to celebrate the cream of the small-screen crop at this year's Critics' Choice Awards[1]. Here are standout looks from some of Glamour's favorites—and a peek at promising numbers from up-and-comers.

Ever since Empire[2] became a mega-hit, it's been absolutely no surprise when Taraji P. Henson[3] walks the red carpet looking phenomenal in a black Alexander Wang[4]—a new look from the designer who showed evening wear[5] for the first time on his fall 2015 runway.

Anna Faris[6] picked a simple, pale pink high-neck Zac Posen[7] gown raised slightly in the front, showing off her matching heels.

Here's hoping that Constance Wu walks a lot more red carpets in the near future (for her star turn on hit series Fresh Off the Boat). She nailed a romantic, feminine look in a one-shoulder floral gown by New York-based designer Cristina Ottaviano.

Shiri Appleby's light-as-air Yanina Couture gown stood out thanks to the graphic chevron design that covered the lower half. Her shoes are by Aldo.

Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez[8] looked ladylike in tea-length Reem Acra[9]. Sweet retro touches that finished the look included pearl earrings, ankle-strap platforms, and a hard clutch from Edie Parker.

Angie Harmon[10] embraced this season's trending off-the-shoulder look, picking a boldly printed dress from Christian Siriano[11] that showed off her upper body beautifully. She carried a clutch by Edie Parker.

Maggie Gyllenhaal[12]'s strapless beauty from Alexander McQueen[13] would have looked perfect on her regardless of color, but by opting for a soft rose petal print instead of a solid, she stood out even more.
