Typically when Taylor Swift is spotted on a rare day off, temporarily being a totally normal 25-year-old, she's wearing co-ords. Matching sets are smart, because they allow you to look put together without spending even a split second wondering whether your outfit works or not. And frankly, Taylor has way more important things occupying her brain, like writing future life-altering records and planning elaborate parties for her friends.
Earlier this week, Taylor met up with her longtime best friend, probably for a girl squad chapter meeting, or maybe just for lunch. And while Selena was wearing something totally Selena—sleek white pants and a knotted top[1] that you and Taylor Swift are both inevitably obsessing over at this very moment—the universe's favorite cat lady was wearing something a little more unexpected.
She wore a band tee with army green shorts which, while not unusual, are not usual for Taylor. But it was her accessory that really turned heads, and we're not talking about that very studded and sizeable Louis Vuitton bag on her arm.
